Softball City

With the help of Roose Engineering, we designed a 15m high system, composed of 3m high chain link fence blended with 12m of vertical, nylon netting.  The high mast poles were fabricated in field by our certified, in-house welders and fabricators.  Drive rolls were deployed to support safety, as well as capitalize on ergonomics to increase efficiency.  This design was applied to diamonds 2,3 and 4.

Diamond 1 was made of much heavier materials with much larger concrete foundations. A diamond fitted to MLB specifications. The net was suspended from a cable to eliminate the chain link fence and allow for full viewing.  The result was a professional grade ball facility complete with in-ground dugouts.

Once completed the facility was proud to host the Women’s World Softball Championship (2016).
