With the conclusion of 2022 drawing near, I would like to pause and thank all who have made this another year of good health and prosperity.

This year has been rich with change for us at Raybern. Our growth efforts have resulted in the hiring of two specialized personnel, Peter Durovic (MBA, Marketing and Sales) and Luke Sehdev (Project Management).

We have launched a rebranded website along with a few sharp videos. Keep an eye on our social media to see our content and get to know us a little better in the new year. We have lots to share with you!

This year we made considerable investments in systemization, and we have deployed a multitude of new process management tools. Through this maturity, we have been able to empower and promote several of our tenured team members, who are now working hard to deliver better value to our clients and create more opportunities for our future leaders.

Our use of the Salus Digital Safety System and Field-Level-Risk-Assessments (FLRAs) in 2022 has allowed us to reduce and eliminate hazardous work conditions and promote a collective mindset centered on safety. In January, we will be forming a Safety Committee involving representatives from all levels of the company structure, in a push toward our external audit and certification by the end of Q3.

We are proud to announce that this year, two of our newly promoted Field Managers took part in extracurricular education, through our Unlimited Opportunity Program. Devin Samaratunga has completed his first year of Construction Operations Management at BCIT and Alex Wyszynski has completed his COR® – Internal Audit Certification. Having completed this certification, Alex is now Raybern Erectors’ Internal Safety Auditor. His position is a critical component in our endeavour to reach COR® certification in 2023.

We are grateful to be approaching 60 years of serving the communities of B.C. Thank you to our employees who have worked to grow and develop themselves over this year. You are the leaders of the future and the foundation of our success. Next, our partners (Inflow Safety and Tacklebox Solutions), whose wisdom and perspectives have enabled us to adapt to a changing marketplace and bring our safety program to the forefront of the fence industry. Finally, a thank you to YOU, our customers. We would not be where we are today without you. May you all have a wonderful winter holiday; we look forward to seeing you in the new year.

With sincere kindness and gratitude,

Shaun O’Leary

General Manager
